The Slender man. A myth that was created by message boards now is breathed life onto this creepy first person suspense. This entity/monster is uncomfortable to even look at. Wearing a suit with long limbs to hang from the bit of sanity that you have left. This simple game uses a fear well known to man, the unkown.
You start out in the woods with a flash light and a video camera. The sense of lonliness creeps in rapidly as you see the darkness gnawing at the essense of your flashlight . You have no weapons. Surrounded by tall trees and endless night. You hear your footsteps and your breath (which are probably the last you will take).

The goal of the game is to find 8 pages or clues and to survive the grasp of the Slender man. The game doesnt really start untill you find a page. Once you do, you hear the foot steps of the boogey man. I swear its giving me the goose bumps just writing this. Every page that you come in contact with, this thing gets relentless. The background music just tortures you nerves with every decible. You cannot look at him directly or you will suffer its wrath. So you have to watch where you point your flashlight. Even if your going straight, then look left, then look straight...........i need a new pair of pants.
This game does not have the best of graphics, but boy does it set the mood of lonliness and fearing the unkown. The music and the limitaions of your site just keeps your nerves on edge. Its pure horror in its simplistic manner. Does anybody remember the game Friday the 13th for NES? Remember when you are walking around wih your 8 bit character, minding your own business, then BAM!! Jason appears and your mom yells at you because you pissed your pants. Yes...its all coming back to me.
GAME PLAY:
You move, walk, and run. The controls are not complictaed. I noticed that there is minor clipping the the bathroom area. Still, nothing can escape the terror.
IMMERSION:
Use head phones and do not play alone in the dark. This game sucks you in. Like I said before. The game limits you with its vision so your sense is trying to take in all it can get. Meanwhile, the music is pounding on your sanity. Why so we do this to ourselves?
