Walking Dead EP 2 "Starved for help" (ENG)

Walking Dead has been everywhere for the past several months. With its grand successes with its undisputed TV series, it keeps you in suspense every inch of the way. Now with "Tell Tales" Walking Dead this video game does the same. Centering you as a shadowy past protagonist trying to survive in a hellish zombie outbreak. Every decision you make is as tough as an angry, hungry zombie horde! (try saying that 5 times fast)

At the very beggining of episode 2 it starts with a flashback of you prior decisions from episode 1, like a recap if you will. Right when the the game play kicks in, its an emotional roller-coaster. From the first decision I made, it kept me in an "uncomfortable" state begging me to replay the series all over again.

PRESENTATION: The game runs well, but it uses kind of comic, cell shaded graphics straight from a novel. It gives it a great comic book feel, but it does lose its realism and scare factor. Also the lip sync and body movements are not always up to par.

GAMEPLAY: The controls are a basic as they can be. Its more of a interaction environment game. There are moments where you must make a choice or action in an alotted time before you suffer the consequences. This gives the game a good change of pace. This episode is about 2 hours long of a 5 part game.

IMMERSIVE: The story is pretty much everything. Whatever decision you make actually molds the story as it unfolds. The game kinda corners you to make difficult decisions and deal with it. Like I said before, the game just begs you to play it again!

VERDICT: (BUY IT!)

Closing Comments: This 5 part game is worth 5 bucks an episode, so why not?
